[scanlation, of sorts] COLOUR CHART

Ever looked at certain characters who don't even have a profile and wondered "What the heck are their colour schemes?"

Ever stared at several different fanarts of the same character and go "Wait...so are they blond?  Dirty blond?  STRAWBERRY BLOND??"

Have no fear!  A while ago, Hidekaz uploaded on his blog a colour chart with the nations' hair and eye colours for us to reference, and here is the scanlated version of the chart.

A few notes: Hidekaz describes Prussia's eyes as "a reddish purple," hence the colour swatch. 

Canada's hair is layered--it's dark on the bottom and has really light roots.

Also, he uses Photoshop, and we're not sure what kind of brush setting he uses, so I personally found this chart more useful for the eye colours as opposed to the hair colours, which some just threw me in for a loop as to how to use it.  Probably brush #2 on a multiply setting?  Beats me...

Colour was spelled the American way there cuz my spellcheck kept picking up on it.

Turkey has pretty eyes, then. :D And Norway must look so sweet. I'm taking this chart to mean awesome awesomeness is on its way sooner or later. 8D

Yup, Belgium showed up in the book version of Hetalia, and Holland showed up briefly in the "Fight for the New Continent" strip as an aside chibi.

Turkey's eyes look like they'd be pretty. Olive coloured... X333

I think so. I remember in Final Fantasy Tactics there was an overwhelming amount of blonds, too.

Oooooh, this is nifty, thank you.~♥ AND JUST IN TIME! I want to make a hetalia-girls-need-love-too fanart, and was wondering about the canonicity of Ukraine and Belgium. =D
(However, I've never seen a holland, so... boy or girl? O_o )

Ukraine and Belgium are canon, and Holland is Belgium's brother. We only get it in a faceless sketch so far, though D: (I think)

I have no idea, either. I've looked around the blog and the site, but while I have found Thai, I have yet to see Vietnam drawn by Hidekaz, but I trust that she's around.
