[Scanlation] England's Friends

Bet you didn't think you'd be hearing from me again so soon. I didn't think I had it in me for another translation today but I changed my mind.


Incidentally, I tried that thing on Google maps and it gave me an error message. It seems dear Himaruya is jerking our chains.

America's face in that last panel is so special XD Also, I'm sad that Tony doesn't have his own LJ tag :(

I had to go back and check the original copy when you said that just to make absolutely sure it wasn't my screw up but it does indeed say Pacific Ocean... That's either tricky Google or Himaruya is catching America's geografail from studying here XD

Actually I tried usuing google to get from New York to the United Kingdom and it said they couldn't find directions....maybe they stopped fooling around with the "swin across the ocean for 30 days" thing... aww man D:

On Yahoo it says "Kayak" when you go across the ocean x'DDD I tried to get to Guangzhou from Southern California and was told to kayak to Hawaii, then to Japan, then take a plane to China. Why couldn`t I just take a plane the whole way, yahoo?

x'DDD Hahaha!

That cracked me up so much because I did that with a friend one time about 2 years ago to see what Google Maps would suggest for continent-to-continent trips and we laughed so hard. (We started from Ottawa to go to Marseille and it says for us to take the Trans-Canada to get to Halifax, jump into the Atlantic and swim to England and continue from there.)

RE: The whole futuristic tech being used or referred to in something set in the past--

That's a style of writing I think and there might be a name for it (I mean, first I think of steampunk but I thought there was some other name)

Oh man, America's face in the last panel is absolutely priceless.
