I listened to the Taiwan tourism video clip music for about a million times to help me finish this thingy! The first idea was merely a doodle: "hey! Taiwan's history is short! I can do this!" .....Yeah, it got about 5 pages longer than I expected, because when keeping everyone in character, the story just tells by itself :).
In the original character profile Taiwan is described as "strong-willed and fashionable girl with many things to worry about", I guess now I understand where that comes from.
I hope everything is coherent...feel free to beat me up if it's not, I know I have bad records with the grammar police. It was impossible to read anything at sketch stage, so this time had to do some post-production!
p.s. It's kind of interesting that this shall follow the recent post by

Note: "Danshui" is one of the earliest sea port city occupied by Spain (later by Netherlands) and also the entry point of western culture. There is also a fort in Danshui named "Fort Antonio" *mwahhahahahaha*. I am not kidding. See Fort Antonio here.
Note: Netherlands is the more overpowering guy rather than Spain, but I want to draw more Spain, sorry. Spain in 17th century outfit, oh yeah.
Note: Taiwan still grows tomatos everywhere. She's got her own recipes now! Antonio must be very proud.
Note: It's not like China knows how to deal with little boys either. Note: It was kind of hard to decide what the relationship between China and Taiwan here, either foster parent/child, brother/sister or husband/wife...They were a little bit like UK/US, being that during this time period, many Chinese started to migrate to Taiwan, making up the majority of the population of Taiwan today...so I went with brother and sister. Besides, that seems to be what's going around in the fandom. An older brother that didn't want a sassy baby sister lol. Being Hetalia, they can easily be siblings with "awkward" relationship OTZ.

Note: Japan was really serious about the top model thing. For such a short period of time, he enforced sewer system, railway, unified measurement, banks, radio and telecommunications, police stations, industrialization of the sugar and rice business...you name it...all onto Taiwan. Language, currency and education abruptly changed to parallel Japan mainland.

Note: Majority of Taiwanese people that experienced the Japanese Rule era have some nostalgic thing going on.Thus the connection Taiwan feels for Japan.
Note: The Chairman panel. Soooooo wrong. :)
Note: After Taiwan moved out, China and Taiwan went separate ways with their own bosses, and became more and more different as time goes by. China ran with the Communist ideas and Taiwan, after bxxxx-slapping her bosses, eventually became Democratic. So sassy. After they were finally done dealing with their bosses, and starts talking to each other, they are unable to agree on anything...as of today. (Something colored, ahhhhhh!)

Before China and Taiwan sorts their issues out, Taiwan will be very happily enjoying her bubble tea, while making Acer computer.

Heh, I sort of see Japan/Taiwan as a really weird, not very strong pairing, because he's weird and she yells at him.

for lack of an assigned name, I believe China would have called her Mei-mei at some point, if he doesn't still. And I'm sure she hates itis pimping one out XD.I must tell you that I loved this. LOVED!! I've sort of been thinking about Taiwan, and yes, bitch-slapping. Actually, I see her parliament as being Taiwan's PMS, but also a hint to just how fierce she is. You don't want to cross Taiwan!
And OMG - she is scarier than the panda attack. The whole interaction between Taiwan and China... I approve of this!

Incestuous proposal... the China-Taiwan relationship is scary in both real life and Hetalia XD (A lot of the people who live in Yao's house insists they are already married actually)
