[scanlations] Lithuania's Out-Sourcing Series Finale 2/2

Sorry about how late this is!

Here is the continuation of the Finale of Lithuania's Out-Sourcing Series! (Part one of two is here.)

Translations by [info]youkofujima and edited by [info]konkira, so many thanks for being so quick!










Capitalist nations were all hugely affected by the depression, but because Russia was socialist, he didn’t have any sort of financial relations with other nations and thus it was as though nothing happened to him.

■Farewell, America■




Because UK, France, and America had colonies, they somehow managed to get past the worst…


But Germany, Italy, and Japan, being without colonies, got damaged rather harshly to the point where even their marrow was being gnawed upon.

Germany had to pay for the daunting compensation of World War I.
Italy was impoverished due to the fact that he could not adapt to the changing times and industrialize fast enough.
And Japan is suffering from a second bought of SUPER ECONOMIC SLUMP.

These three nations were pretty deeply hurt.


And from this appeared Italy and Germany’s bosses.
The overture of this crisis will become rather (；・∀・).

And Switzerland looks scarier than Sweden... that's a first.

I love how the colonies are completely NOT AMUSED by this all.

I especially liked how his line "How many times do you want to be shot" is a statement, not a question. Switzerland's face is just pure brilliance too.

This. I swear, I'm running out of things to say to the marvels of Hetalia and its abridged history lessons. Just. This. This thing is amazing and had me laughing, and since I've read up on the WWII buildup in Italy, yeah, that's part of what brought Mussolini into the fold.
