Yosh, first, I guess I introduce myself *scratches head* I should start off with that I just got into APH (and instantly fangirled over GermanyxItaly and Russia XD), and already small ideas on what to contribute to the community have been popping up in my head - even though I really shouldn't get distracted considering that I'm reaching the important point in my education (gah, A Levels @__@ ), but meh, such is the life of a fangirl/history nut, I suppose...
Ah, I've rambled. Anyways, to wind this up before I start going on about some small details I found in Hetalia (like if Arthur represents just England or all of UK, because I'm Welsh, and I'm confused because there's a lot of (or was) strife between England and Wales and Scotland and Ireland, so I'm just curious. After all, we're all still fighting each other 'cept it's with Rygbi or Pel Droed rather than invading castles and rioting like in the good ol' days of Glyn Dwr or Llewylen), the only thing I'm confident I can contribute is fanfiction, or mediocre pictures that pale in comparison to the wonderful art found on this community *stares down at pictures in dismay* Oh why, oh why did Mother have to break my drawing tablet?
So, as I am sure I have effectively
bored you all to tears with my ramblings, here's my point (finally): If you wanted to read a GermanyxItaly fanfiction, whereabouts during the timeline in WWII would you want it to be? What genre? How long? Who's point of view? Etc... After all, best to display a story to the majority of the masses, ne?
Plus, I think I need to brush up on my WWII information before attempting to write a Hetalia fanfiction, so if I have a focus, much more easier ^^; GCSE History was mostly about Victorian Politics (boooooring~) or the Civil Rights Movement in America (and we people in Wales need to know this...why? What about Britain's
History? Apologies to Americans, but I seriously see no point in learning American History and completely glossing over British History with Victorian Politics
, some good ol' patriotism there).
Gah, but I've digressed. Yosh, good work with the scanlations, good work with the fanart and fanfiction, and I hope I can live up to the awesomeness that is this community! *Flashes thumbs up* Through the Power of YOUTH!!!!
Now then, time to get out my Dad's six thick volumes on World War II *trudges to battle the Bookcase* Hopefully I won't crush my fingers this time. Bloody bookcase...
