Hi! I tried to post this to aph_request , but with no success... I will try to ask the main community here, hoping there will be someone willing to help. Thanks to kurukurumaki for the previous help! (loves and sends kisses)
[Copied-pasted from my old post]
I have become very interested in Scandinavian culture, most of all I found myself intrigued with Denmark and Norway (and I don't mean only the characters, but the real nations themselves). I like to draw my personal character interacting with other anime/manga people, and when I started to like Hetalia, it was easy for me to draw Ita-chan and Romano, England, France and Spain, I know these nations pretty well so it's easy for me.
But I simply can't draw anything with the Nordics, and that makes me really sad. I don't like go around the internet to find stuff. Or rather it should be said: I really don't know what to search.
So I'm asking you, if you are from Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Finland or Sweden, to help, because I really want to draw them. I'd like to do meaningful drawings, inspired by something real. I'd like to draw monuments, particular places, something like a touristic trip to your country (recently I've started draw England staring at Westminster Abbey, for example). Plus, I would like to know typical foods (for make bento... I know I'm strange I do strange things XD), or.. anything else.
I'm not good at drawing, but I always try my best, so... Please be patriotic and help me T_T
If you're not from there but you would like to help, you're very welcome too!! I'm always happy when I can receive hints.
Another thing. I'm searching for Danish friends, who are willing to help me learn Danish. I'm trying to do it alone, but I don't understand your grammar T_T (not to mention, I would like to learn Norwegian and Sweden too... I know, I know, my brain will explode)
BTW, if you're wondering, I'm Italian. Cheers ^_-
A/N: "Why?" you might ask. Well, this is really nothing more than a long-winded response to a dare, one in which the author was requested to exercise a unique pairing... Seriously, this was all I could come up with. *hides*
Title: In the Shadow of Albion
Rating: T to M — it should be important to note that if I do *coughprobablyeventuallycough* up the ante, I’ll put a big flashing light over the chapter(s) in question.
Pairing(s): I'm leaving this open with a ‘multiple pairings’ sign (because it's true), but I guess it also has an odd element of *England/Italy* that should be pointed out. The usual suspects are also present: Germany/Italy, US/UK, Spain/S.Italy, etc....
Warnings: dark!England, romance, violence, a smidgen of language, innuendos, and smex (though I don’t know what to level of detail just yet)
Fun Facts: I’ll try to explain everything along the way through the characters themselves, but if I sneak any jokes into the mix I’ll point them out at the bottom of the page.
Translations: Again, any of the garble I insult your senses with will be translated at the bottom of the page.
Disclaimer: Hetalia belongs entirely to Hidekaz Himaruya.
Summary: Meddling with the darker arts, England unwittingly unleashes a side of himself he thought was good and dead. It's really too bad Italy’s the only one that seems to notice anything’s wrong with the old Empire...
Welcome to Liberty, USA, the little world inside a big city. Liberty has it all: the diversity, the culture, the style... And it's like no place on earth because its population is made up of real-life incarnations of nations from around the world.
LOLOCRACY! is an Axis Powers Hetalia roleplaying game... with a twist! It's focused on the modern lives of the nations as 100% plain ol' human beings: your average people that work hard and play hard.
We are currently looking for: China, Canada, Sealand, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Greece, Estonia, South Korea, Turkey, Australia, Roman Empire, Germania, Taiwan, Belgium, Wy.
OCs are welcome!
Title: Five Ways to Say a Name
Author: Ad_Idem (Left)
Characters:Liechtenstein, America, and some other round-about mentions.
Rating: G (although a few "hell"s are scattered here and there)
Warnings: Human names are thrown around a lot, and lots and lots of plotless pointless fluff.
Summary: Names are given to us to allow us to be different. Names are chosen for them to allow them a moment to feel human.
