There are many children in this world. Many teenagers and children trying to just get through with their lives, working through the stress of puberty and having to grow up. It's a hard time, and everyone has to go through it at one point or another. Now, imagine having to go through this time in your life with the added burden of strange mutations. Imagine just waking up one day and being able to hear all the thoughts of your friends and family. Imagine swimming one day, and, when you get out of the pool, all the water follows you out. It's makes adolescent all that much harder, and, several children out there have to suffer through it alone.

One in ten children are born with these unique gifts, sometimes whole families are afflicted. Sometimes the child is the only one in there family like this. The abilities range from dream reading to fire manipulation, teleportation to breathing underwater. There's no rhyme or reason to the gifts, nor there is anyway to tell if a child will be born with these strange abilities.

Luckily for all these children, however, there exist several schools across the world that enroll these gifted children and try to teach them how to control their gifts. These schools vary in names but, each consist of a permanent theme. The childrens' gifts are not called “mutations”, or “abilities” but, rather “Alices”. The students are organized by classes, all depending on their Alices, and each student has a special “star ranking” that determines whether they'll head up in a grade or not. There's usually one per country, and some schools only consist of a tutor and two students, (like the school in Belarus), while some, like the school in America, consist of one hundred students and teachers. The largest school by far, though, is the one located, (officially), in Tokyo, Japan.

Consisting of several hundred students and teachers, the “Alice Academy” is one of the best schools to go to, and, this year, it's finally opened its doors to foreign students. A new exchange program has started up in the school, and, several students from different schools across the world have begun to pour in.

Welcome to Alice Academy, please, have a seat. You'll fit right in.
